The marvellous adventure began in 1979, on a small isolated farm in the Appalachian Mountains, in the south of Quebec. The variety of wild medicinal plants surrounding were fascinating.

2,500 years earlier, the Druids wished to create a total collaboration between nature and humanity. By experimenting on the spot with original methods of cold plant extraction, the company, Druide was born and created completely natural and organic body care products inspired by the ancient works of herbalists as well as brand new techniques.

The use of plant and mineral-based ingredients had extraordinary effects on the skin, hair and quality of life of many people. Thus the very first complete line of ecological, organic body care was born, creating a chemical free alternative to the body care market.

Since 1979, Druide has been manufacturing body care products, always respecting a strong commitment to organic and environmentally friendly products and manufacturing process.

In 2004, the international agency ECOCERT rewarded this commitment and Druide became the first North American company in the cosmetics industry to be certified organic and ecologic.
